My bag is packed, I'm waiting for the phone call that tells me what time I have be at the hospital.  Everything is in place.  PT and OT will be here 3 times a week beginning the day after I'm discharged.    We have to be there 3 hrs prior to surgery.  Nothing to eat or drink after midnight so I hope my time is after 10am.  The first surgery is scheduled for 7:30, I do not want to hear that I have to be at the hospital at 4:30am.  I'm not nervous now, I'm sure I will be when I get that call.  I'm just anxious to get it done and to start my rehab.  This bad knee is making me old before my time.  I need to get back to being myself.

Best Wishes To You and here's hoping you don't have to be there before the roosters start crowing.  Surgery is no fun but this is going to be SO WORTH IT!!

I took my cousin to the hospital to get her new hip and she had to be there at 5:30 in the morning!!

Please keep us posted on how everything goes. As difficult as being first is and having to get up at 4:30...you know you won't have to wait once you get there for the inevitable delays. It can have it's advantages.

My sister was recently 'worked in' for a procedure and didn't end up in the procedure room until 6 pm.

However it works out...wishing you the best.

Hi ! Wishing u luck. Had my right knee done 5 yrs ago. It is a tough recovvery and rehab, but soo worth it. You will be very happy with the end result.
