I've never seen anything about regular kale being more nutritious than baby kale, but I have read baby spinach is more nutritious than regular spinach. Organic is always best.

Yup NuNu...I'm loading up on the bags of organic baby kale and power greens from Costco for my blender drinks. I like pineapple, greens, coconut water, celery and/or cucumber. I love apple and/or carrots, celery, lemon, and ginger. I throw in whatever is handy but I usually come back to these basic drinks....love the lemon and ginger in my smoothies! Lately I've been craving pure grape juice....it is so refreshing in the am.

Mindy, the Ninja does work if you pick the softer fruits and vegetables! I put in some flavored kefir..vanilla, chocolate, or cherry, for example...then a bit of water...then power greens. Finally I add whatever frozen fruit I want..frozen bananas, pineapple, cherries, peaches. Blend til its an icy creaminess!

I just bought a 900 Blendtec and will start trying out some carrots, apples, ginger, etc in that.
