I Missed Thanksgiving because of a Migraine

I missed my favorite day of the year with a migraine headache. I've had headaches (not migraines) since before Kindergarten, so they run in my family. I'm 48 now.

A typical headache can turn into a migraine very quickly. I usually wake up with them. I have an appointment to see a doctor, but wondered if anyone had a good recommendation for migraine meds.

I'm heading out to the mall now. Thank God this didn't go into Day 2!
