Two weeks ago I thought I was getting the flu. I thought what in summer. After a few days of sickness and misery I discovered a bulls eye rash. It turned out to be Lymes disease. So you never know.

Nothing worse than a nagging cold. I hope you feel better soon! I know everyone has their own theory on staying well.....well, mine is called EPICOR. One capsule a day.  My hubby and I have not had even the sniffles for three years now.

@Vickiv,

That's awful! I'm sorry. I wish you well. That would be hard for me to handle.

Your body will certainly let you know what,if anything, is going on.

Please listen...❤️

I hate being sick

I'm coughing, sneezing, blowing my nose.

I'm using Purell like it's going out of style.

It started with sore tonsills yesterday.

Okay, I'm off of my pitty pot.

Colds are a bummer in general, especially during the summer.

Drink plenty of liquids, rest, and feel better soon!

They are going around for some reason this Summer. Both daughter and grandson have them. High fever and both have ear infections. Great niece too, she ended up with broncitis and strep. I would wait a few days, if symptoms get worse the see your doctor. Hope you feel better soon.

I think that I am finally getting over this dam bug.

Omg! So much coughing and nose blowing!

I am just worn out fighting this thing.

I missed quite a bit of work, but there was just no way that I was in any condition to do anything, and besides, I really didn't want to infect others.

I ate plenty of chicken noodle soup, jiuce, milk, and tried to rest.

My abs sure got a workout from all the coughing.

But, yeah I think that I'm finally over the cold. I'm starting to feel human again.

Good news, @Plaid Pants2!

What I used to hate was that besides feeling horrible and worn out with a cold, I had to struggle with making myself get up at 5:30 and haul myself in to work, feeling like carp all day. I hated the whole "We don't want you here spreading germs, stay home" but expecting that to take 1-2 days and pretty much being pithed off if you stayed home as long as you should because you're making things hard on your co-workers.  And OMG, have TWO colds in six months and it HAD to be your own fault and maybe they should find someone who isn't "sick all the time." Ugh.

Right after I retired and moved in March, I got a cold. I felt typically miserable for about 8-9 days, but it was BLISS to just be able to lie in bed and BE sick without anyone's expectations of me getting up and doing anything.

LOL, ETA that I think I might be getting one as I speak, so to speak. I hope it's allergies but maybe not 😫

@Plaid Pants2 Sorry you are feeling krappy.  there is absolutely no reason to call a doctor when you have a common cold.  (that wasn't directed at you PP - just in general). A doctor can't do anyrthing to cure a cold. If it lasts longer than 7 days and you are coughing a lot you most likely have broncitis and do need to see a doctor  then.
