Re: I Changed Prescription Insurances Today!

@Carmie How in the world can you remember what someone posted that long ago?  Wow!  I'm really impressed!

I honestly have trouble remembering a few weeks ago (if I tried I guess I could).

I'm not being facetious, I really am impressed.  I remember dumb things that aren't important.

This is just the medicine (however it's worded).  Not the Drs or anything, just medicine.  I've had it for (I'm pretty sure) 2 years.

I'm not complaining.  I know I'm lucky to be able to rely on this guy and I totally trust him, it's just scary to change, that's all I meant.

I don't understand why a person can't change whenever they want to during the year.

Re: I Changed Prescription Insurances Today!

@Annabellethecat66  I have no idea why I have such a great memory.  It’s just the way I have always been.  I can even remember things that happened before my second birthday.  I know...weird.

Sometimes I go up two flights of steps in my house and forget what I went up there for.  So, my memory isn’t perfect all of the time.

the Federal Government made the rules.  They do not allow changes to be made during the year.  I imagine that if people could change plans whenever, they would choose the less expensive plan.  When they need expensive meds, they would upgrade their coverage.  This would result in higher rates for everyone.

i think you will be happy with your change since your meds are going to be covered.  You  certainly don’t want coverage that doesn’t cover the meds you were prescribed.
