@goldensrbest sounds like the pain i experience from time to time.  i have step coming into the house and also going to laundry room.  i agree with ice, elevation, and over the counter pain reliever so long as it does not interfere with any medicines you take.  i take Advil, just one 200 mg and add another if needed.  i might suggest you lead with the right leg to take the stress off your left leg until it feels better.   hope you feel better soon.

I use Voltaren gel on my muscle boo-boos---works like a charm-----after a day or so, feels  alot better--I believe that tylenol works on  the PAIN part of the inflammation while the Nsaids actually work on the inflammation itself. Also ice it--geez I hate icing anything!!!
