Hi Y'all. Well darn: The cheapest pre made meal delivery is Moms Meals. Selecting the heart healthy meals are also lower in sodium. However some are high carb  but calories from 450 to 700. I am not able to cook but desperately need to lose weight. I suppose this is better than nothing.Hopefully I can do simple breakfast like oatmeal, yogurt or protein drink.

Ordering only lunch and dinner for the week is about $72.

It has been expensive ordering with Grub Hub and Uber Eats. I have tried to order vegetable plates and large salads.

What do y'all say? Thanks.

I normally eat only once a day.  Always protein, usually chicken or fish/ seafood and a green salad with vinegar and 1 T olive oil.

Once or twice a month, I might make egg whites in a pan and serve with a few raw spinach leaves.

Am I losing weight? No.  I barely can maintain my weight.

You are starving your body and it is holding on to the calories in order to maintain. You will never loose weight. I don't understand people that want to starve their body of nutrients. If any illness comes, you will be in trouble. There are many ways to eat and loose weight, yours is very dangerous.  I always wonder if people are willing to do anything to loose weight, even if it could lead to death.

I have tried Weight Watchers and gained weight.  I was on a doctor controlled all liquid diet for three months...No solid food at all.  I only lost 7 lbs in all that time.

You name the diet and I've been on it.  I never lose weight and always gain even through I never cheat.

I do lose weight on low carb, but that diet puts me into Afib and causes a whole lot of medical issues.

I have celiac disease so no gluten...no bread, cake, cookies, pasta, etc

I don't snack or eat junk food.  I also don't eat processed food or high sodium foods or caffeine or drink alcohol.

I am just happy to maintain my weight.  I know I can't lose weight.  You name it, I have tried it.

I have no medical issues and the only med I take is vitamin D3 as prescribed by my doctor.  My blood work is excellent.

I have been eating this way for years.  If I add more food, I gain weight.

By now I am used to it. If this diet was gonna kill me, I'd already be dead.

Adding, I never get sick, never get colds, never had the flu.  I have never had COVID and have never been vaccinated against the flu or COVID.

Occasionally, I get vertigo and motion sickness. Other than that I have no issues.

Amazing that you lost that much weight in such a short period of time!  You have a lot of willpower!  I used to have it but I don't any more!  I try over and over again but I just can't seem to stick to anything.  I am disgusted with myself.  You're just so strong!

Please don't be so hard on yourself.

You may have missed where I posted that I forgot to eat and when I did , it wasn't enough.

I am doing s bit of renovation in my home by myself and it's been extremely hot here, 110-120. I was exhausted and would forget to eat, too tired to eat, which is very unusual for me. When I would eat, it wasn't enough and I didn't drink enough water.

Losing weight is extremely difficult, we need to eat and drink for survival and do this at least twice per day, which means we have food in our faces all the time.
If one doesn't drink alcohol, doesn't smoke, we don't have difficulty forgoing those two things, food not so much.

Please, love yourself and don't be so very harsh on yourself.

xxx

I don't wear stretchy pants b/c they give where you gain and you don't notice the change until you put on a pair of jeans.

I don't eat restaurant food at all.

I love pants with stretch, they relieve some of my lower back pain.

@Alsace Gal It sounds like you have lost a lot of weight in a very short time frame. Your body is going to rebel, it is wise to lose 1-2 lbs a week. I have gained and lost alot over the years. I was over 200 lbs before I started WW I did very well and then Covid came a long and we were eating and drinking out of anxiety. I broke my hip and was in rebab for 3 weeks. I have been between 120 and 125 which at 5 feet tall and 69 years old is fine with me and my doctors are happy.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.
