I just did some searching of ESTRIOL= E3
We have to educate ourselves even if we have wonderful physicians!!! This has been used in Europe for decades but not in US since it is just not profitable for drug manufacturers. Studies show that it does not increase the risk of breast cancer. And guessing that it is not profitable for physicians vs $4000.00 laser proceedure. It has shown to help with v*ginal dryness, urinary issues, bone density, and cardio health.
Many here say that posters should not come to this forum medical advice but rather go to their doctors. I say we are just sharing medical/health exeriences. I learn so much from the sharing that we do. Thanks!!!

If you are using it only a few days a week, Very little is absorbed into the body.
Some breast cancers are not related to estrogen, I think, like triple negative.

I took it in pill form for approx. 7 years after a hysterectomy and ended up with breast cancer. Was it caused by Premarin? I'll never know but I suspect it was. ( B.C. is one of the risks of taking it.) I regret ever taking it.

FingerLakesNY - you are my kinda gal - INFORMED!!!!!

@fingerlakesny I was on regular Premarin because years ago military drs prescribed it. I had terrible headaches etc from it and then found out about the mares.
I wrote to the company expressing my concern about their treatment and told them I was discontinuing it.
They answered that the mares are well cared for, etc.
I didn’t believe that and when I stopped it had no more headaches.
