I've had to hang up my Fitbit for a little bit due to foot issues, but what are your numbers? Let's make this a bragging montage!
LOL......sorry guys, it's been a long hot hard day for me today!!
Not sure I'm ready to brag yet....only 3 days in. I really hate to walk, but do a lot of Jazzercise every week......I have walked a couple of times this past weekend to get my count, but I got this really for the calories burned number. Helps my Jenny maintenance.....I'm about 3 weeks away from 2 years since I walked into Jenny Craig and I'm still holding my huge loss......keeping my weight between 110 and 115 (5'4").
Hi hulagirl! I've been on and off JC for 6 years! I always end up gaining the weight back (I'm categorized as an "all or nothing, extreme" dieter...lol!). What's your secret? I'm currently on the home stretch of losing 40 lbs (again!). BTW - I'm on Maui. Are you in Hawaii?
Hi.......I really don't have a "secret" to keeping the weight off except my new clothes.....do not want to have to buy bigger clothes ever again. I just try to keep my maintenance as close to the 1200 calorie menu plan that you do on JC. If I add anything, it's a little more protein or some fresh fruit. I also go every week or two to weigh in at my center.....I also still pick up some of the JC snacks/deserts to have on hand for those munchie moments. I'm ashamed to say I was up to 196 when I started (so depressed from having to leave Hawaii that I sat and ate for two winters.
I am no longer living in HI......used to live in Honolulu until 2009 (been back twice since, though).....miss it every single day.

I'm on advance order for the 23rd, and ordered it mainly to see if it will tell me anything useful about my sleep. Diagnosed with sleep apnea several years ago and am unable to use the CPAP machine, so I thought I would see what this will tell me.
If anyone has tried it regarding sleep patterns, I sure would be interested in knowing what you think about it. Thanks!
I've been using it track my sleep for 2.5 years. It's not very sophisticated, but it is helpful. It basically tells you how many times you moved at night, which tells me if I had a restless sleep or a good one. I was able to deduce that if I ate too late, I tended to have a choppy sleep. Also, if I worked out too much in a particular week, I noticed I didn't sleep as well. Use it for what it is, a simple tool, not a fancy sleep analyzer.

Kittymom, I don't want to dissuade you from purchasing, but I don't think the FitBit is super useful for tracking sleep. It gives you a very general view of how long you slept, how many times you were restless, and how many times you woke up. And, you have to tell it each time you wake up in the middle of the night by tapping it. The Jawbone UP24 does a better job of tracking sleep, including tracking REM sleep. I don't like the style of the Jawbone, but you can check it out on Amazon or HSN.

Hula, great job keeping your weight off!
I am having a hard time getting my weight back down. I am 5'1, 125ish now, I was 115 when I was hiking. My knees starting bothering me, so I had to stop & the weight crept on. Any tips you can give I would appreciate. What is a typical day of food like? I am going thru the change, so that has been an extra strike against me. I did join a gym, so hopefully I can get this weight off. All my cute skinny clothes no longer fit, ugh. I hear you on loving wearing the clothes you worked so hard to fit into & not losing that!
Do you mind saying how old you are?
Oh, & I did not buy the Fitbit

One thing I do wish you could change is your goal for each day. I was doing 10K steps, but wanted to make my goal 15K for today, but when I changed it it made it look like I missed my goal the other days so I switched it back to 10K.
Bad news, I overdid it today. Did a long walk this morning and another long walk this evening and now I have horrible blisters on my heels! Guess I'll be wearing my Orthaheels for a while!

A trip to the mall was another 2000 but I certainly don't do that everyday. I do have to go to work sometime. But is has shown me how little I really move!!
I have the little fitbit that you can wear in your bra. I have a Urban Rebounder and it gives me about 7000 steps for an hour just bouncing on the Rebounder. I have loved that Urban Rebounder for years. It is a good exercise to do.
