Never.

Since changing our lifestyle...almost 6 yrs ago now, we don't take meds anymore.

@Susan Louise Good for you even at 130 lbs we both still have chronic issues.

@I am still oxox  I'm 5'7" and hover between 138-142lbs.

We got off of our meds due to a lifestyle change - what we eat/don't eat. I lost about 120 lbs and DH lost about 140-150lbs. We have kept the weight off for nearly 6 years now and couldn't be happier/healthier.

I was 'normal' weight all my life til I hit my early 40's, then became insulin resistant/metabolically broken/pre-diabetic. Same with my DH except that he actually became a type 2 diabetic. I was headed down the same road.

DH was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic in Sept 2018. We changed our lifestyle on that very day and haven't looked back. He is not a type 2 diabetic anymore and I am not a pre-diabetic either. Literally, ALL of our other health issues we had are now gone and off ALL meds. I've posted about it several times over the years.

We both feel like we are in our 30's again...

I wish you success on your journey to better health.

@Susan Louise He IS a T2 Diabetic that just happens to be in remission.
