On 10/18, I realized I still had no glasses. Called Lenscrafters and was told they would hopefully be in that day's shipment and they would call me when they were in.

It is now another week later and 22 days after my order. I have never waited on glasses this long but I've always gotten regular glasses never specialized.

Is this normal for progressives or am I good with my plan to drive over there today and possibly end up needing bail money if they don't refund my money on the spot?

@Jackhound Mom Thanks! I'm tripping a little with my first progressives and the whoa moments when you move too quickly. I wasn't alive in the 60s so I'm just enjoying my first flashback to what LSD effects must have been like.

Oh my! Dennis couldn't adjust to them (Lenscrafters) a few states ago but they took them back and made traditional bifocals to his liking for no charge! They do have a good gaurentee and have a quality product.

Good luck my dear! Hope you get used to them!!!

He goes to a local place that sends them out but has purchased 1 complete new pair around $400 and took 2+ weeks to recieve. Hope I'm not repeating as I have a major headache. Also had both pair of Ray Ban frames re-done with new lenses for around $120 each pair so now he has 3 to choose from.

@Laura14 Don't give up! You'll get used to them and love them. It didn't take me much over a day.
