I always order from Zenni (last 12 yrs), always get progressives. Most recent pair took 7 days and cost $125 (including frames). The last time I ordered from Lenscrafters (20+ yrs ago) they made my progressives on site while I waited. Oh, for the good old days!

my Husband just got his most recent pair at Costco Vision last week. It took one week for them to be ready for pickup.

@brandiwine my post reflects your exact thoughts! It was so much less expensive going to Costco. And they were ready in one week!.

Generally a week or so. I go to an independent optician because I require a specific type of glass lens that chains don't dispense.

@hondagirl You pay SO MUCH MORE buying from your eye doctor than going to say Costco or the like for the same quality glasses. We learned our lesson and never get them from our eye doctor... just pick up the prescription and go elsewhere. Costco only took one week for my Husband's progressive lenses.

2 weeks and $30 later, from Zenni.
Mine are not progressive, though.

@Laura14 That's ridiculous. When I used to wear progressives (before my cataract surgery), I used to get them inside of a week.

Usually between 1-2 weeks...no longer.....

About 2 weeks. Progressives. Lenscrafters as they are the provider of my employee vision insurance. They write down the pick up ready date on their logo envelope where they put the reciept of purchase.

Thanks guys! I figured I was well within the outrage period by now. I will be visiting them shortly to get my money back and maybe try out some of the other places you all recommended.
