So Cal doesn’t get it often , but we get some humidity with our 90s and my body feels it. Does your body ache with this weather. I’m in a cool house drinking fluids but my body feels uncomfortable (aches). I had someone call and ask if I was feeling this way because she was also. Now that I’m older (58) it feels different.
@springers For me, the high humidity does not make me feel "achy." It makes me feel "sweaty" and the need to shower several times a day. I don't know if age is a factor or not, since it has always affected me that way - I am substantially older than you.

We had weather like that post hurricane, we only had 1/4 of our power, it was a very difficult few days

We've had a hot & humid summer. Even with the air conditioning pulling the moisture out of the air, I don't feel well on those days. Today it was only slightly warm and dew points were low, so I had an abundance of energy.

They say it's 95 with a feel of 105 but I'm inside. My body wasn't feeling well before the air. I thought I might be getting sick and then someone called complaining of aches. I did a 4 mile walk when it was 80 this morning and I was thinking a few years ago I could handle it.

Hot weather triggers hot flashes in me so I’ve been having quite a few this summer. 😒. Can’t wait for cooler weather.

@springers Southeastern PA here. We have some experience with H&H. I used to be oblivious, but lately I am feeling it. Sweating, can't breathe, dizzy. I stay indoors as much as possible. However, I don't see body aches with it. I have PMR, but that's all the time. Not just Summer. Are you hydrating?

I think walking four miles will do that when it's hot and humid. I live in the south so I'm no stranger to that kind of weather but exercising in it makes me feel achy and fatigued.

I used to live in Monterey CA. I miss the weather. We had maybe one or two very hot days a year but I found the humidity managable. No houses in the area have AC, none that I ever seen. Fireplaces....yes. AC...no. I live in the Southeast now and boy does it get hot and humid. I knew it would. But as I get older, I can't tolerate it. I stay indoors as much as possible.

When we have rare periods of humid weather in Albuquerque, I ache all over terribly. Heaven help me if I still lived in Houston.
