@Roscoe the Rascal, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband and yes, you made the right choice. Continue taking good care of yourself and know that you can handle whatever comes along.
@Roscoe the Rascal I'm so very sorry for your loss. I was a hospice RN before I retired. My mom was a hospice patient a week before she died. So I understand the difficulty from both the nursing and family perspectives. Be sure to accept the bereavement counseling that will be offered to you. God bless you.
My husband was put on hospice care Thursday and passed away this morning peacefully. I am thankful he got to come home and pass in his own bed surrounded by family.
He just needed to come home.
