Re: Himalyan Salt Lamps - Does anyone use these?

No luck with the lamps, but great success with a salt inhaler.

@Abrowneyegirl

I have seen something about this, also.  If you wouldn't mind, would you elaborate on this, such as what kind you use and the benefits you have seen?  I am trying to find things which are more natural to help both DH and I.  Thanks so much!

@Witchy Woman

Yes, I do find them very pretty.  But I'm really interested in their health benefits.  I have seen a lot of them on Amazon and they are decently priced and they have many sizes and prices.  I first thought I'd try one out for the living room; see how that goes and if it seems useful, may purchase some for the bedrooms.

I also remember them being out and liking how neat they looked but never cared about the health aspects but now that's what I am looking for.  But I kow that many people seem to like them because they are pretty.

@Zhills

I am looking to get a much smaller one that would fit on a coffee table.  I am glad that you think it helps somewhat.

@Snowpuppy

The ones I was looking at had bulbs in them.  I really don't know much about them and have been trying to research.  I have seen some stuff about salt rooms and wish they have some close to me but no, there are none.

I have not seen any in stores near me, so I would have to purchase on line.  I live in a very small town so I don't think the stores would probably stock these.

If I do get one, I am opting to get a smaller one just to try out.  And then I'd go from there.

@magicmoodz

I would try the salt room if they had any near me.  I know I have allergies because I have itchy watery eyes and my nose continually runs (very attractive) -- among other things!

I will definitely post when and if I purhase one.

@masque

I originally was thinking about getting a stand alone air purifier but was reading a lot of stuff and couldn't filter through all the literatature, brands, sizes, pros and cons -- a lot of cons, and I came upon the salt lamps.  This seemed a better alternative.  So, I am thinking  that I will try one out.  I will post my results!!!
