Re: Himalyan Salt Lamps - Does anyone use these?

I don't have asthma nor copd, I do have sinus issues and I have noticed a better quality of sleep when the salt lamp is on and my bedroom door is closed.

As far as severe allergic reactions, the only ingredient in the lamp is salt. Period. Himalayan salt is pink in color naturally and is free of iodine. Most grocers now sell the granulated form in the baking aisle. Same salt, just ground.

As far as one posters warnings to never share the lamp? You do not sit over the lamp and inhale like a vaporizer. Just sayin' there is nothing to "share".

I saw the lamps at Bed Bath & Beyond and my only thought was - the new pet rock.
