Hello Friends,

This is my fifth UTI since February. I felt those familiar symptons again 2 days ago, yesterday I went to the dr. and lo and behold, my 5th infection in 3 months!!!

The first time I was prescribed cipro, 2nd Macrobid, 3rd cipro again, 4th Bactrim and something other antibiotic I can't remember... and then yesterday the doc gave me a shot of antibiotic and another prescripton for Bactrim. They are also doing a urine culture and I will get the results in 72 hours he said. They are trying to find out what antibiotic is going to cure this thing.

The doctor also told me that if I cannot get this cleared up pretty soon, he is going to have to put me in the hospital and have antibiotics put in me with an IV. I am pretty freaked! I am 46, and haven't had a UTI since I was 7. I have followed every direction the doctor has given me, but I can't seem to clear this up.

Anyway, my question is... I feel sick. Everytime I get one of these, I just feel generally unwell. I had a dental appt this morning, and I thought I was either having a panic attack or I just don't feel well.

Has anyone else had one of these that makes them feeling kind of wobbly, at times nauseas, and just plain yucky allover?
