Help! My Friend Very Depressed

My best friend quit her job 4 weeks ago and is now very reclusive. She is single but has a roommate. She stays in her room and sleeps and watches tv. Her family has turned their back on her. She is letting everything go and is completely withdrawn.the only time she leaves is to go to grocery and library. She is normally a control freak. Any advice is greatly apprecisted.
