Heavy Smoker - Need Humidifer and Air Purifier/Cleaner

My husband sits in livingroom majorty of his time and he's a heavy smoker. By the end of the day, the room smells just terrible {#emotions_dlg.blink}. Having him stop is not an option.

I want a warm air humidifer and NEED an air purifier/cleaner. I don't want an item that requires filter replacement. That can be costly.

I would apppreciate advice and/or suggestions.
