This is a two part question.
Do you take heart supplements, such as CO-Q -10, if so, which ones and how much?
Secondly, do you take a pro-biotic, and how many million or billion do you take?
I am thinking of adding these to my regimen.

I've taken Lessman's COQ-10 for several years. Since I've been dealing with some intestinal issues for several months now, my gastro guy suggested Florastor twice a day for me. It's not cheap, but if it helps, that's all that counts. 250 mg tablets contain 5 Billion per capsule.

We take CoQ 10 and Red Yeast Rice, all with our internist's input, and we take probiotic supplements and digestive aids.
I feel better now than I did 30 years ago. No kidding!

I have taken both CoQ10 and Probiotics daily for over 20 years... working in the natural supplement industry, I did my research and take many many supplements including these two daily. I also give them to my golden daily.
I take about 200 mg of the CoQ10 and about 35 billion potancy of a multistrain capsule probiotic about 3 a day.

From what I understand, Kaneka Ubiquinol (CoQH) is better than CoQ10. My DH and I take 100mg. of Ubiquinol twice daily. We use the Vitacost brand.
We also take a Vitacost brand 15/35 probiotic, meaning 15 strains, 35 billion CFU's.
As I've stated in the past, I usually go to Lessmen for the education, but find the Vitacost version of the same supplement for less money. I've also been able to set up auto-ships on Vitacost for even more savings as well as being able to use discount codes on them.

@JeanLouiseFinch I take Dr. Sinatra's QPlus100. It has soooo many good ingredients plus he uses squid oil. Now I'm reading that ubiquinol is much more potent, than the ubiqunone in Sinatra's formula. Do you see any reason why I couldn't add ubiquinol to this?

I take Andrew Lessman's CoQ10 (ubiquinone), sometimes I take the Ubiquinol form & his Ultimate Friendly Flora probiotic.

@Judaline - I am not qualified to make that recommendation, nor do I know the significance of oil obtained from a squid, if it's actually better than the oil collected from assorted cold water fish. However, assuming Ubiquinol and Ubiquinone are both in the same family, so to speak, it might be too much to add the Ubiquinol to what you're already taking. Awhile back, Dr. Lessman talked about Omega-3's and how there needs to be more DHA than what people are getting in their supplements, for better brain health. For that reason, I take the Omega-3 Super DHA from Vitacost (500mg. of DHA/200mg of EPA). I find better potency when taking single supplements to enhance whatever I'm getting in a multivitamin. Therefore, we take the Omega-3 Super DHA and Ubiquinol as two separate things.
