Have you had a flu shot yet?

I think DH and I will get our flu shots this week. We used to be able to walk into our local pharmacy to get them but now need an appointment. Is there a shortage of the vaccine this year? Wanted to get the Covid booster shot first but it sounds like the Moderna one won't be out for awhile, so will do the flu shot now. Have you had your flu shot yet?

I haven't yet. It's too early. I get mine the middle of October.

Last year and this year we got flu shot last week of August. Hope to have a Modern a booster about first week in November when will be eligible (over 70).

Yes. I'm 73 and have gotten them forever and never had so much as a cold in 30 years.

@Duckncover My husband and I got our flu shot last week. We needed to get it to allow time before taking the COVID booster in mid-October. We made an appointment but the pharmacy was not busy giving vaccines. Good luck getting yours.

@nana59 I'm 74 and have never had a flu shot either. I think I had the flu once as I was in a bed a few days back and forth between sweating and freezing. I diagnosed myself. But that was it.
