PLEASE go to the emergency room at your nearest hospital and tell them that you are hearing noises no one else can hear and that you get very scared when the noise comes.

They can help you, if you let them.

I got a new dose today. I was never told to always use it and not quit. I can take care of myself if people explain things to me.

@halfpint1   What does it say on the label of the pills you picked up today?  If you can’t read the fine print, please ask your son to read it and explain how to take the pills, how many per day, etc.

this is very important.

Ok ,halfpint1. I understand what you are going through. My mother is lost her husband 6 years ago.
She hears things too. She has high anxiety problems now to. What kind of medicine is it. What is the name of it?

@halfpint1  Print out the instructions and tape it to your fridge, so you won't forget

Re: Has anyone heard noises that no one else does?

@halfpint1,

There is no wind in the vents; that is just what you tell yourself to make the noise real.

You work yourself into that frenzy because you won’t stay on medication to control your extremely high level of anxiety.   You were indeed told to take your anxiety medicine daily, and the instructions on the pill bottle told you exactly how much and how often to take it.

If you go back and read some of your old posts from last year, you do mention taking anxiety medication.   Your memory is truly failing, and that creates great concern.

You are no longer aware of how many of these “air in the vent” episodes you have had since your husband died.   I truly feel I know what is going on and therefore am greatly concerned for your well being, and know that feeling is shared by many other of our friends here.

I wish her son would join in, if he would.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.
