Has anyone had any skin "problem" checked by a Dermatologist lately?

I had a couple of places on my back that I wanted a Dermatologist to check for me, and I finally got the appointment and saw him yesterday. I thought it was odd that he came into my room with the bottle of liquid nitrogen in hand and proceeded to freeze the areas right off!! I don't know what I expected, but that just seemed odd! He said he did not suspect that they were any kind of skin cancer. I was wondering if anyone else had been to a Derm. lately and what your results were. Thanks!
