I'm having a tough time controlling my type 2 diabetes--even on two insulins (Lantus & Novolog). I'm watching my diet and walking. I do have a lot of stress in my life and I know that plays a part in this--but still---it's become an uphill battle and I'm beyond frustrated. Diabetes gets worse the longer a person has it per my endocrinologist--and I have it since 2002 (that's when it was diagnosed--I'm sure I've had it longer). Anyone else with this problem? Any suggestions? My Mom also had hard to control type 2 diabetes, as did my great-aunt and paternal grandfather--so genetics is also at play here, unfortunately.Maybe someone out there has some tips on how to deal with this???
