painful and unpleasant. Glad it's over. It was a stereotactic mammogram guided procedure. The Doctor and womens center staff were so kind and reassuring which helped a lot. Now I wait 5-7 days. Doc said most of these calcifications are benign.

Re: Had my breast biopsy today

Having had a couple of breast biopsies in the past, I can relate to your feelings.  Thankfully everything turned out well and it will for you too!!!  Be well.

@smoochy  - I know it will be hard to wait those 5 to 7 days.  Hang in there.  Positive thoughts are going your way.

@smoochy

Yes, painful and unpleasant. Even tho I also went through it, decades ago, I am disappointed that the procedure has not improved.

Happy you had it done and hoping all the best results for you.

@smoochy   I am so sorry you experienced pain with this procedure.

I can honestly say it wasn't fun, but wasn't painful when I had this procedure done.

I am praying that your diagnosis is benign.  I know how scary it is not knowing and having to wait for a diagnosis.

Hoping for the best.

Re: Had my breast biopsy today

@smoochy   Sorry your procedure was painful, I had the same biopsy years ago I don't remember any pain but I do remember that really long needle or 'prong' that was inserted in my breast....I hope the results are benign, as mine was.
