Years ago I took calcium supplements....then reading how they might contribute to blocked arteries, I started looking for food sources of calcium and found an abundance available. So that is how I get my calcium today.

I'm running low and noticed a Lessman calcium capsule of very fine powder ..... anyone have any experience with this type of calcium?
How do you take your calcium these days?
@Tinkrbl44
Three 8 oz glasses of skim milk a day, and vitamins K2, D3 and magnesium. Lots of heart disease in my family, and I don't want to risk calcium build up in my heart or arteries from calcium supplements.

But what form is it .... solid, liquid, powder ... or what?
@Tinkrbl44 It’s a soft capsule with powder. It’s what I take.

I don't take any supplements. My labs are always normal.

That is just one of many supplements I won't take...calcium. I keep thinking of the tune 'Turn to Stone' by ELO whenever I hear of anyone taking calcium...LOL
For those who want to understand why, here is info to a few youtube videos online...

I don't take a calcium supplement. They can negatively interact with thiazide medications and they can increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes. No thanks. I get my calcium throught diet.

Several years ago they came out with a study of women 65 and older who had taken calcium tablets and they found out many were dying of heart attacks and had evidence of calcium in their heart muscles Since reading that I have stopped taking calcium tablets and get it through food only (like green leafy vegetables, milk, etc.)
@newname0 My doctor took me off calcium for that reason.
My doctor took me off calcium too.

I don't take calcium, either. I thought I was about the only one.
