Gallbladder removal surgery anyone?

I will make the 7th of my maternal line females to have the surgery...scheduled for next month.

Has anyone here had this surgery? My surgeon told me I should either go home the same day as the surgery or spend one night in the hospital. Also it should just take 7 - 10 days to recovery. Does this last sound right? It will be a laproscopic incision.
