Got the results back from my most recent A1c test and it's 5.5!! I am thrilled!

As a type 2 diabetic this is GREAT news!

@Puppy Lips Sorry, I edited my post to add that I am a type 2 diabetic and this is a measure of glucose over a certain period of time, to put it in a nutshell.

So happy for you!  I have a strong family history of diabetes, both Type 1 and Type 2.  My sister was recently diagnosed with Type 2.  I strive to eat properly, keep my weight in check  and exercise most days.  It is not always easy...........

@Foxxee I don't know if you are a diabetic. If you are please don't think I'm "talking down" to you.

The ideal is 7 and many of us have worked long and hard to get to that point! So being at 5.5 is really great and shows that I'm doing all the right things
