GASTRITIS: any remedies for this

I recently have been diagnosed with this and in lieu of results on a biopsy that was taken have been given little other than Nexium to relieve this, I did pick up a few supplements from the health food store but really am looking for as much feedback from your experience to get the healing process started and feel better as soon as possible. Thanks any tips are more than welcome!
