UPDATED TO ADD PERTINENT INFORMATION:

There was a very recent recall of shrimp from the same company that is associated with an outbreak of illnesses. There were six associated illness with that recall. The health and outbreak information is the one on top and the recall with brands is below that. You can check to see if you have this in your freezer. It was in late June.

@Annabellethecat66 @It's because some milk got into the mix and milk is not printed on the label. It could be a problem for those with milk allergies. This was for Wavy Lays, my favorite. My last bag tasted different than usual. I think it's because they are not using the oil they usually use. The ingredients say that they vary the oil used.

I buy two different brands, neither showed up on list.  They have  been consumed with no problems, anyway.  Whew !  I keep waiting to get knicked on one of these recalls.  Nothing in years.

Wow! @Mindy D  All I remembered was that there was something wrong with it.

I almost threw it out.  Brand new bag!

Thanks for the heads up.

@Mindy D   thanks for that milk info on the chips-   I just bought some, but a milk allergy won't be my problem.

@millieshops @They did taste different to me. I think they used different oil.
