Fosomax and teeth

I am hoping someone can help. I have a tooth that needs to come out, however my dentist doesn't remommend pulling it right now because of the bone building drugs I have been taking - Boniva for 3 yrs and Fosomax for 1. Dr. wants me to stay on drugs for another year, but I don't want to wait to have this tooth pulled for another 1-1/2 years. I'm seeing an oral surgeon in Jan. for his opinion, but wanted some feed back from you ladies. Thanks.
