I ordered the PM Relaxation from Andrew Lessman because I have tried literally everything to help with my insomnia. I started using them a few weeks ago and I have never slept better in my life.  It says you can use them forever, safely to help with sleep.

I agree - ALL of his supplements are useful for me, it's all I take, 23 different in my variety of Lessman.

I like his Valerian (used for sleep / relaxation) and it works wonderful.

It stinks - I hate the smell, but it's not perfume, it's a natural supplement that works great for me to get my zzzzz's.

My cat likes the Valerian (I open one and spread it on his bed for a better slumber) and he apparently enjoys the smell.

Another wow, as in another of my posts on this forum, a different thread.

Makes me wonder, once again, how I managed getting so old, and my body still functioning quite well, without a long list of supplementation!

As said in another of my post, the supplements I take are required to keep certain blood levels on specific vitamins in, or slightly above, a normal range for old men in my age group.

If doing these supplements aren't doing any internal or visable harm, and somehow make a person feel better?

Basically it has "relaxing" botanicals plus melatonin. @lovesrecess

Have you tried both PM Relaxation and Valerian?  Which did you like better?  I have no luck with Melatonin and I see that PM Relaxation has that along with Valerian.

Re: For those who can't sleep

I see the melatonin listed as 500mcg's....for 1 capsule...so that's 0.5 mg....a very small amount.  So I am thinking perhaps the other ingredients are responsible for the good reviews.

Now I am tempted to try it!  But Chromium is in the product for both day and night and I thought if you have thyroid disease that this could be a issue.  Not sure.  Need to look up some of the other things listed just in case.

Glad to hear you found something to help you sleep....I just saw a sleep doc and they are attempting to get approval for a sleep study for me done.  I wake up so many times and have to use the potty it's like I have a new born to tend to all night long.  I am tired all the time and just never get more then 90mins of sleep w/o having to get up.

Re: For those who can't sleep

I was all excited when I saw your post about Lessman's sleep aid, but so sad when I got to the end of the ingredient deck and saw melatonin. I had a horrible reaction to melatonin when I tried a very small dose. I was up pacing the floor all night. For some reason I had the opposite reaction of what's supposed to happen, so its a NO for me.

Re: For those who can't sleep

Valerian can interact with antidepressants, anti-epileptics and quite a few other drugs. Speak with your pharmacist or physician if you are considering taking this. My medicine comes with a warning not to take valerian with it. Two drugs are known to have major interactions with this. The other drugs have moderate or mild interactions.

sodium oxybate and buprenorphine
