@patbz I just got my flu shot because my Moderna will be due the last of October. The Sr flu shot is stronger and arm is a bit sore. I didn't want them close together.
The pharmacist who gave it agreed with my Dr who reminded me that with kids back in school now, there are more respiratory problems starting earlier and possibly flu.
💪🏻 💉🩹 ❤️

What makes you so sure you are not a transmitter? Are you aware of the science that the Covid shot protection may wane after around eight months? I guess your decision is between you and your physician, but you need to stay informed.
@Biftu please, let's not hurangue others about their choices on how to deal with this pandemic. Why bother with this? You don't know any of us. This pandemic has all of a sudden given some people permission to tell others what to do.
Can't have a decent conversation about these matters because someone is always in your face about it what they think.

@gertrudecloset Agreed. The posters comments should not have made without being knowledgeable.

Talk with your physician or pharmacist about proper spacing of vaccines,
they can be very helpful.
Please consider the Shingles vaccine if you are able and interested - shingles can be a very debilitating, and painful disease.

Gosh, who says your "knowledge" is the correct knowledge. Who says your information is better than his information. Who says your science is the correct science? Israel is on their fourth shots. Have they got better "science" than you have....

In my area of southern WV, local physicians have their flu vaccine by September 1st, and urge patients with appts that month to take the shots.
There no longer seems to be a great concern for taking the shot too early, and not having full protection if peak flu season hits here in WV as late as April or May. My doctor has been addressing this by giving a second flu shot to his most vulnerable patients. My teacher daughter has had a 2nd flu shot twice that I am aware of in years where the flu was rampant with a late spring surge.
