Always got one free at work

This is the first flu season I'm retired, on Medicare

This reminds me to call my HMO, see what they offer.

My next doctor appointment is not until February.

I usually try to plan it out so that the shot will last through the worst of the flu season. I know that is just a guessing game but I've always heard the shot will only last for 6 months or so.

I get a B12 shot every month so I think I will call them and see if I can get the flu shot the same visit. That is that both my wife and I have done the last couple of years. I less trip for us to get poked, works out well for us.

Walgreen's is just around the corner .... if I remember the next time I walk by, I'll stop in.

Historically, I get the shot in September.

I have a friend like that.

She's had all sorts of medical procedures and several surgeries . so she can't be afraid. She just refuses to get a flu shot.

I will never get one after knowing what is in them, and what they do to our systems. Be careful with the Shingles vaccine. Merck has been sued, because the shots were giving people Shingles.

I got my flu shot today at Walgreen's. When I was there I put my name on a waiting list for Shringrix. Low and behold they had just received a delivery of 20 vaccines earlier today. So, I was in the right place at the right time!

I go into my primary next Tuesday for my annual physical/blood work, but I was not sure his office would have the Shringrix vaccine available.

I felt like I won the vaccine lottery today!

@ALRATIBA, I have a sister like that. Swears it gives her the flu and thinks people are nuts to get the vaccine. Well, guess who had that worst bout of flu with high fever that lasted over 2 weeks?

And guess who had to drive her to her doctor's appointments?
