We had a fitness challenge at work about a year ago with a goal of 10k steps a day.
Not to be rude, sincerely, but I Googled it and found the answer right away and didn't bother anyone on this forum. I understand having a feeling of companionship and comaraderie and wanting to chat about it. But really, I use Google all the time and always get an accurate answer right away.
Anyway, for me, at 5'4", it's about 4 miles.

Generally speaking, 10,000 is 5 miles. I'm short for 10,000 steps for me is usually 4.5 miles according to my tracker. Every day!

easy to check YOUR stride length, check you dashboard on fitbit and take note of steps/miles . . . then walk one mile on treadmill OR one mile around your block measured as close as possible with your vehicles odometer . . . after walking the mile check your dashboard again and divide by number of feet in a mile and there you have your steps and thus stride length. then adjust it on your settings on your fitbit.

Right now I'm reading at 10,177 steps and my odometer says 4.40 miles. Lots of it is just walking around the house and yard and grocery shopping.
It's not all 'walking' steps.
I believed I burned 1935 calories.
I don't put my fit bit on till I put my bra on and I didn't wear it on my bathing suit today. So really my count should be a little higher.
