Which is the best one to get? Target has them on sale

My son used to sell electronics.

He suggested I get the Zip. You wear it in your bra, it has most of the functions (except sleep) and costs less than $50.

I took his advice. It seems to be a good place to start.

When I went to Target yesterday, all the Zips on sale were sold out!

oh no!! Did you get a rain check?

Brand New Fitbit Fan In the House! DH has had this gadget (ONE) for about a year and is very pleased with it so I decided to order the same for myself. Set it up this afternoon and hopped on the treadmill with Fitbit One counting my steps. I am keeping it in my shorts pocket in the little clip attached to a Pedometer leash for extra insurance. DH had his fall out of pocket in the carport while pulling out keys and we ordered this pack of leashes he heard about from Amazon.

Re: FitBit Zip...the greatest invention EVER!

We had a blizzard here yesterday so it was back to shoveling again today.

I shoveled for 60 minutes straight and had to walk pretty far to dump the snow - we are literally running out of places to put it!

I did 3,000 steps in the hour...another 6,000 tonight at the gym...plus the day's usual total - another 15,000 steps badge!

This is a LOT of fun!

I have the jawbone UP. I don't even know the difference between the Fitbit or the Jawbone. The Jawbone was a gift. I've gotten in 10000 to 17,000 steps a day for 3 weeks now. I average about 12,500. I wonder how that compares to the "average" person?

Anything above 10,000 a day is great.

The Fitbit dashboard said the average American does around 5,000/day.

Re: FitBit Zip...the greatest invention EVER!

I love it ! I have the flex, and it's synced with my phone and iPad . It keeps me motivated to get at least ten thousand steps and thirty minutes of cardio. I had one day where it wouldn't sync up and reset to zero, but it seems to be fine now.
