Oh drat. I think I might have ordered the wrong size in the Fit Bit TSV the other day. I assumed that small would be the correct size, but I used the on-line sizing guide which states that the small fits UP TO a 6.5" wrist. My paper cutout just touches at 6.5, so I think I should have sized up. I am on waitlist till 6/24, so think I should call CS and change my size. Thoughts? Anyone already have it and know how close the guide is? Thanks ladies.

Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

My wrist is a tiny bit smaller than 6.5 inches and I wear the small and I have a little room left. I think you are ok.

I sure hope so Mima. This is one thing that they really didn't address too much during the presentations. I wonder if there will be enough room to clasp. Do you know how long yours measures end to end?

Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

You might want to go up a size because the bracelet is rubber which gets hot & sticky especially during the summer. I wear mine pretty loose just for that reason.

That makes total sense to me VCamp. Thanks for your thoughts. I hope I will be able to call CS and size up.

I also wish they would have addressed this. I kept thinking they should say something like -- ""you need to make sure this fits tightly because it's imperative that the [device] touch your skin and remain in constant contact with your skin in order to work properly."" I never heard whether it was important to have it fit snug or not.

Agree. In addition, I need to know if there is enough room for overlap or if it is a straight 6.5 total length. If it is, I need to change the size that I ordered. Think CS would know any more?

Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

There were two sizes, S (small) and L (Large).

The TSV came with 3 fitbit bands. This is not an issue because if you ordered a Small, you would get a large in the package. Please read. Rick discussed this numerous times. He just didn't discuss why the sizes where done that way...which was the size of the extra third band.

If you got the Small in the Black/lime green color.

You got a Small and Large Band in Black. (So don't worry, you also got a large). In addition, the lime green color band is in Small. That's the difference. The extra color is going to be in the size you ordered.

If you got a Small in the pink/black option. You would get a SMALL and a LARGE PINK Bank and a small black band.

If you large in the black/lime color. You would receive a Large and a Small in the Black Bank and a Large in the lime band.

If you got a large in the pink/black color. You would receive a large and small in the pink band and a large in the black color.

Please read what I wrote so you understand the sizing.

Since both sizes in both colors are available, you can change the sizing by calling customer service ASAP.

Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

The Fitbit website says the small band fits 5.5-6.9 inches and the large fits 6.3-8.2 inches. Their website also has a wristband measurement guide that you can print and then cut out and wrap around your wrist to see what fits best.
