@qbetzforreal  Sorry, my post was a little confusing.  I put MY post on top instead of underneath.  I wasn't referring to Halfpint's post at all.  The poster I was answering, understands what I meant.

 

I think Halfpint is doing the right thing and getting good exercise.  I have been reading her posts for a long time and know  her son watches out for her and sometimes, she sleeps over at his place when she is nervous.

 

Again, sorry for the confusion.

I think it's good that you go walking. My mother in law, who lived to be 103, walked on a regular basis. I find that there are times my hands hurt as well. I'm pretty sure it's arthritis  in my case, so at night I sit with an ice pack. Amazon has a wide variety of them, priced at a resonable price. It seems to help me. Also, putting them in water helps me, too. Have you thought of attending a swim exercise class? I wouldn't worry too much about seeing the doctor. He/she might have some simple and good advice.
