@Mom2Dogs,

I think I know what you mean. I've felt that too after an injury or surgery and it's not like me either to feel that way.

I think it may be that life is disrupted from our normal and sometimes in a painful or shocking way. Wondering what may happen next or how long to heal. Will we be able to do the same things?

And I think once something out of our control happens, it is normal to feel a certain fear of what can happen next?

Especially at night I would sometimes get very restless or "antsy." Soemtimes I start walking really fast up and down my hall to music and then when I do get to bed, have a book I really look forward to.

I bet you will start to feel more like yourself the more you heal and also  remember that they say any major surgery takes 6 months to recover from. It takes a toll on your body and also your emotions.

@on the bay  Holy smokes 6 months???   I won't look to far ahead, I'll take it one month at a time......LOL.

I do know that next winter I will feel like I have a new wardrobe because my clothing options are limited right now.

@Mom2Dogs,

Well, haha i Just meant that even when your shoulder starts to feel so better "they" say that any surgery really takes your body six months to recover from.

I always thought that was encouraging when and if you still get tired more easily or not quite your former self.

And I agree, clothes you can wear is always a good thing to look forward to!
