A customer service response. I am walking a neighbors dog for her due an illness. So I stop by for my daily visit to take ole boy for a walk and check in on her. She asks me if I would help her getting the top off a eye care product made by a large company. (B and L)
I try but could not get it off. I tell her I will try again after I take Bob for a walk. (He was getting antsy) When we returned she has called the company regarding her inability to get the top off and they sent her a fed ex label to return the product and they would issue a return upon arrival. I was like wow! We tried again and could not open it. I had a box for her and when I went to the work the next day I took it to fed ex. (they did offer to have a delivery set up but we didn't need that) She received an email with a few coupons for free products so she is happy! Talk about customer service! She is truly a woman of action. PS: Bob offered support for our activities with lots of kisses for us both!

I use a tool you can get for free when buying paint from Lowe's. It takes the lid off paint pail.
I use it to pry loose the lid from medications, etc. I then take a manicuring scissor to cut those dang tabs off. You know the ones...
I'm 74 and struggle to get every dam....lid off.
When I am at yhe pharmacy or store, I ask them to take/loosen the lids.

I once had a return to Zappos credited more than 3 months after I sent it back, I must of forgotten about it. When I called they were so nice and gave me a $100 gift card for my troubles

@Kachina624 Good idea! Except she handled it while I was gone with the dog. She was also quite proud of herself for managing the situation on her own and she got to use her new computer and printer! She calls the spot where she keeps her electronics her "tech center" That makes me laugh.. She also keeps a treat jar for Bob nearby and he has a bed by her foot! He is such the pampered doggy!!

I SAVE all "easy off" lids...the kind with flip-tops, or spouts. All lids are standard measurements (groove fluting), and easy to interchange if you have a same size replacement.
I also have a jar wrench if I need extra leverage and as @Kachina624 mentioned, a slip-joint pliers.

I use a nutcracker to open small bottles..I have trouble with water bottle caps and the caps on toilet bowl cleaner.

WE WERE SEPARATED AT BIRTH!!!!!
Just got new orange one since the teeth were all worn down on the old one. About $6 on Amazon.
Another thing I wish I had known long ago is to get a strap wrench. Who would have thought?
Now I think about they are both orange 😂😂😂
