One of my daughters just had her first dexa scan at age 46. The results were perfect bones, no sign of even mild osteopenia.
She has exercised all of her adult life and was also a very active child (gymnastics, cheerleading). She still walks, runs, does weight training, floor exercises, etc., not a day goes by that she doesn't do one or all of these things. Her body type is thin and strong. She's a vegan and doesn't eat much, sometimes to the point of my thinking she has an eating disorder.
However, her lab work is always 100% with no deficiencies. She is in great health.
So, "zip my lip." Can't argue with success.
