Thank you for the clarification in your post. Aha! California, much different there than my Midwest living. I have no clue how old Mickey Rooney was(chronologically) when this happened, but to me chronological age means very little.

I see it this way when it comes to ones age:

1)Chronological 

2)Sociological 

3)Physiological 

4)Psychological 

Now who in CA decides which age to choose? Some people are "old" at 50, while others, in which I include myself, are young at 80, and in all 4 of the aforementioned choices.
