Warning: this source might be bogus!

Just starting a bit of research into heavy metal contamination.
Author suggests eating these with tuna, salmon, etc.

At the end of the day, the best foods to absorb
dietary lead is to not eat those foods with dietary lead.
All animal meat & animal byproducts...especially fish.
Stuns me to see people drink ‘bone broth’ on a regular basis
when mercury lies in the animal bones for years.
And all fish meals & capsules saying it’s ‘healthy’
when it’s causing so much harm in the long run.
Best bet, again, is to eat a whole foods, plant based diet
for optimum health. 🌼💛🌼

If you want extended articles w/ detailed research to back,
go to nutritionfacts.org & type in ‘lead’...lots of articles!

I know in my heart you are right, but I LOVE SALMON!
My doctor told me not to worry about this, many years ago. Still, I will bet that newer research would show that the canned tuna I ate every day for years, and the salmon I eat each day now, may not be safe.
Oh dear!

Unfortunately, many people don’t know.
Right now, we’re in Protein Powder Season (!) & there’s so much
icky in those whey powders/replacement meals.
People drink the VEGAN ones thinking they’re healthier...but they’re not.
High concentrations of lead in popular brands.
Again, whole foods to the rescue.

Hi @LTT1! I admire your quest for knowledge and good health. You're one of my favorite posters.
As far as the article you posted tho pleasepleaseplease find a better source.
This article gives you a heads up as to why that particular salesman of misinformation is useless {to put it mildly} and frankly dangerous and sometimes vile. If you're not sure of this article source I post please do some Google searches to read all the criticisms of Adams and his so called health (and other) advice to draw your own conclusions.

Aren’t you such a treasure and thank you!
I was hoping someone in-the-know would weigh in on this source!
This type of information is new to me. Someone also posted in A reviews that my favorite enzyme supplement is now being investigated (?) for heavy metal contamination. I am going to email the company for information regarding heavy metal testing.
I read somewhere while skimming that once food sources are concentrated, the heavy metals present as contaminates are also concentrated.
Also, I’m wondering about gmo’s and if they are present in these enzyme products. Ugh!
I need to keep finding new sources for accurate information. Mr. Adams might go on the shut-up list for me! Thank you again.

Also, this source mentions that mascara has shown to be full of lead in some testing. Have not checked but I heard this before. Thought or assumed that mascara was now safe...so I will be checking this out before buying it too. (EWG?)

I'm not sure I trust the GLP. They claim to be a legitimate scientific organization, but what legitimate scientific organization would title an article, "Mike Adams: Natural News, 'everyone's favorite über-quack' #1 anti-science website?"
I have yet to peruse a legitimate scientific journal and see something like that.
Not only that, but it is suspicious to me that they are against labeling GMO foods. What's wrong with transparency?
