Re: EVER HAVE A "DEEP CLEANING"?

Yes, it's a scaling below the gumline.  I had anesthesia.  My dentist's office does one side of the mouth and the other the following.

Re: EVER HAVE A "DEEP CLEANING"?

I have received novacaine.  I do not like going to the dentist, and there are many dental procedures far worse than a deep cleaning.  It is worth the time and money.  Oral health is related to other body systems such as the cardiac system.  Also, if you have a joint replacement bacteria from the mouth can enter the bloodstream and settle in the joint, hence why people with joint replacements are prescribed prophylatic antibiotics.  Good luck.
