Oh Wow !! Really ? a ring that tracks your sleep and exercise ? Has anyone tried this ?

My hairdresser has had an Oura ring for a couple of years. She loves it.

My husband has a ring that monitors his heart rate,oxygen levels, ,as well as other things and it alarms or vibrates if o2 drops or pulses are off . It also puts a report on his phone with an app . He has v-fib and lower o2 levels from long covid and uses oxygen at night . The ring is very accurate and his doctors always look at his reports on his phone when he goes in for appointments . He could also send it to the doctor if needed . A remarkable small device . l don't know the name of it .

Is it comfortable to wear? Looks bulky. I wonder how long the battery stays charged? Says up to six days. But that can be as low as a day and even less.

It's ugly, I'd never wear it.  What can it do that a smart-watch can't?

I saw the presentation on it and thought, how dumb. If you have to wear a ring to tell you how much sleep you're getting then I just don't even know. Isn't there enough tracking being done on us already?

@judianne  What a wonderful device for your husband, must give him peace of mind.  The information transferred to phone is a great tool and to send reports to doctor is another great feature.  

From what I have been reading a ring is the next big thing and will continue to evolve.  Thanks for sharing how beneficial it is for your husband.
