However, if you already know you enjoy barre, the Fluidity Bar itself is really an excellent piece of equipment. It is very sturdy and easy to maneuver around. You can change the height of the barre with a couple of clicks. So, if you already know you like that piece of equipment, it's a good one to get.
The workouts themselves are okay; there's four of them in the initial package, if I recall correctly. (Seat & Thigh was always my fave.) However, there's lots of barre workouts out there if you know where to look. (Try totalfitnessdvds.com - Collage Video used to be a good source but they are going out of business.)
Thanks so much! Your response is very informative and helps to answer my questions.
Height adjustment is definitely a concern for me because I'm 5'9" without shoes. There are times when I wear my sneakers to do these exercises, which increases my height a bit. Right now I'm using the stability bar that's attached to my treadmill and although it's a good height for most of what I want to do, it's not adjustable, so it's limiting.
Stability is another issue. We thought of installing a bar in our home, however, all of our walls are plaster so that's a no go for sure!
Thanks again glitzandglam!
