My husband has always wanted an Inversion Table. I thought I would purchase one for him as an Anniversary gift. Any pros & cons would be appreciated! Also, what brand holds up the best and has the best features? Thanks for any suggestions.

Why not have him learn yoga poses? They include inversions. I don't like buying things like this as they take up a lot space and eventually turn into dust catchers and then flea market. Just saying, there's other options for inversions.

We have had one for about 12 years, and it has saved my DH from having to have back surgery. We only use it occasionally, especially when DH's back is really hurting. He hates to use it, because the weakness in his back prevents him from getting back upright by himself. But, by using this, the pain goes away and he is good to go.
I like it for the stretch, and doing sit-ups upside down is a challenge. There is a lot of pressure on the ankles even with the padding. The thing is huge and takes up a lot of space.
Our cat loves balancing and bouncing around on it too.

I had one I purchased from QVC at least 20 years ago. It made my back feel great and I think I was actually taller. What killed me was where my ankles were clamped into the apparatus. I used it for about 10 years but after I broke my ankle, I could no longer deal with the ankle pain.
Whenever my husband tried using it, he ended up with a headache.

My ex-neighbor bought one 5-6 years ago and she had a really bad back. Got the shots three times a year and used the table. She said the table helped.
She has moved away and she is around 67 now. I heard she got remarried and is very happy. She could barely move before.

We have a Teeter (Roger) that I purchased for my husband from HSN at least five years ago. These are a God send for your neck and back. There was no s/h on it and no tax if you order online.

Do not use if you have hypertension, GERD, hiatal hernia, glaucoma, pregnancy, etc. They look harmless but can really aggravate these conditions.

We have an inversion table that my DH uses occasionally. We've had it for many years. It has not been a miracle cure for his back, but helps. I think the biggest con is that it is rather large and takes up space.
He also has inversion boots. You put them on and hang upside down from a horizontal bar. You have to be able to get on and off the bar, which would be a challenge for most people!
