I saw this lady on public t.v. the other day for the first time. I so loved what she was teaching. Gentle movements and trying to get the body all in balance!
Does anyone here do any of her tapes or exercise to her program? I don't know if it's on regularly - I just saw it when it was on a type of plea for money thing.
I have not done any kind of exercising for ages due to all my health issues, pain issues, etc.
On this show, she talked a lot about pain issues and how many things are caused by the body being out of balance, etc. How certain types of exercising might strengthen one part of the body, but then put too much stress on another part, or else not strengthen the other areas of our body at all -- thereby causing our body to be out of balance and causing even more problems.
From what I could see, it seems like her exercises are done in a more slow, flowing fashion.
If you use any of her tapes, etc., could you post which ones and what they have done for you?
Thanks so much!

I too came across her program on PBS and recorded it. My husband and I both did the lower body stretch routine. We both bike, him long distance, me anywhere from 10-20 miles at a time depending on how I feel. I really liked her program and theory because as we age, our muscles do tighten and shrink. Her program reminded me of a gentle yoga class I used to take. I looked ahead and she has some more programs coming up in the next few days and I have them scheduled to record. She is also doing a program here in CO coming up in the next few months but it was $250 pp...a little pricey for my husband and I to attend together.

She is on M-F morning on my PBS station. I have bought one of her series on Amazon. I exercise a lot ( spinning, rowing, aerobics, pilates, yoga, etc.) I like her sessions because it helps tired muscles. You also build strength.

I have never heard of her, but I just set her program to DVR. She comes on at 1 a.m. here, which is why I am not familiar with her program. Looking forward to it.

I could not stand to listen to her voice droning on and on.....just get out and walk in the fresh air.

I have the Classical Stretch Season 11 Full Body Mobility dvds and the Age Reversing Workouts for Beginners. I try to do at least one a day. I've found her use of "muscle chains" really work well for me. I feel a lot better, looser less tight, when I do the routines. I walk with my dogs 2 miles a day, so the Esmonde-Whte Classical Stretch workouts help with mobility and strength training.
Most libraries have some copies of the workouts. To buy dvds, her website is usual cheaper than Amazon. There are also some short 3 minute workouts on YouTube.
These work for me, maybe not for everyone.

@AngelPuppy1I have her Classical Stretch Season 9 series I bought on ebay. Found it for $33 vs. Over $60 I've seen. I like Season 9 the best for me, it has a good variety of exercises/stretches. I have fibromyalgia and use her DVDs to supplement walking. Very helpful, especially on days my hips or shoulders are locked. I feel so much better after doing a quick session. Even if I don't do every move she's doing, I feel my fascia stretched&I move better after.

I appreciate all of your input and comments! She is the first person and concept that I have heard in a long time that I actually got excited about and thought --- maybe I could try this --- maybe it would help me!!! Also, she is in the same age bracket, so I think this is helpful as well. I have fibro, arthritis and many other health issues so it's hard for me to do a whole lot. I sit at my job all day and this does not help either! I am going to look further into her tapes, etc. Thanks so much. I enjoyed reading your posts!!
