Pinch the skin between your thumb and first finger, if it bounces back your hydrated, if not, drink more water. It was recommended by a Dr.

I have no idea why your skin gets dry when you don’t feel well, but if you find an answer please share.
Best to you.

Nothing on my skin springs or bounces anymore.

The color of your urine is a good indicator of dehydration. It should be about the color of lemonade or lighter. If it looks like apple juice then you could be dehydrated.
"The solution to pollution is dilution"...drink more water.

I agree with @hckynut ...

Tea is a diurectic. Perhaps switch to straight water and see what happens.

When they say 'eight glasses of water a day'...that does not include beverages such as coffee, tea, juice, pop or beer.

I'm sorry I have no idea why this is occurring. I know sometimes I get all achy and feel chilled out of the blue. I normally run hot.
Just wanted to say about the herbal tea if it's caffeine free why wouldn't it count as fluid/water. It's mostly water.

Most any type of nonalcoholic beverage, caffeine-free or not, will contribute to hydration. However, those alone might not be enough to keep you hydrated. You might still need more water.
