YES! They are always difficult to me (my upper body is the weakest, always has been) but sooooo worth the results. They are the best overall upper body workout you can get.

Yes--I just started to be able to do a full pushup (I can do plenty from my knees). My favorite pushup is a death crawl pushup. This is where you have a short arm/leg and a long arm/leg, so you are doing pushups at an angle. I go all the way across the gym floor (about 50 feet).

One of the trainers at the gym does a tabata style workout, where you work for 20,30 or 45 seconds and then rest for 10. I can do the full first set from my toes and part of the second set. It is my goal to be able to do all the sets as a full pushup (We usually do 5 rounds)

Yes, but I also hate them.

HappyDaze, I can so relate. I do them from the knees, but continue to struggle with the full pushup. I do planks, but still have trouble with a regular pushup. My shoulder is bad, so I just do what I can.

I do push-ups from the knees. I can already tell my arms are getting more muscular. WHOOP
